Says he, as he rips parcel apart
Books, a knife,handfork, dvd’s and seeds
All for being a MOM you see!!!

Never was much good at poetry, but I am really thrilled about my MOM's early Christmas prezzies!
I am looking forward to reading Diary of a Victorian Gardener (you lot trying to tell me something?) and the lovely garden wildlife book by Jenny Steel. The gardening Dvd's will surely give me more tips to share with you all!
Can't get the hang of eating with the Knife and fork maybe because the knife is a wonderful stainless steel vegetable/paring knife and the fork is....... a stainless steel handfork for the garden! Seeds are always welcome, and when I grow them I will always think of GYO.

You know, I've just been thinking (could be dangerous!) but apart from the odd small win at the bookie's, and the £1 cheque I got from Littlewoods which I have framed somewhere, I think this is the first time I have ever been given a prize for anything! (I think I'm going to do a Gazza!

Well Snadger, maybe I'm luckier than you ????? I've won two prizes in my life. The first was a Highlands and Islands Scholarship, which paid for me to live in accomodation away from home to enjoy ??? a secondary education.Jury still out on the value of that one.The second was an Easter Egg (gigantic) I won in a raffle at a parents night and had to collect in front of the assembled audience. Still smarting from that one.
Maybe I won 3 prizes. Third being the OH. Absolutely no doubt about the value of that one. Just superlative.!!! I just love that man.
