doc just diagnosed me as having gout
i'm just a couple of weeks short of my 40th birthday - always been fairly fit and active, i'm not overweight, rarely drink, don't eat shellfish, eat what i thought was a fairly balanced diet with more white meat than red and plenty of veggies, so the more common causes have been ruled out
doc says that even some veggies can be bad for gout (increase production of uric acid) - so got to look at my diet carefully
does anyone know what veggies (or fruits) are good or bad for gout?
any other diet tips??
