A room decked for Christmas, with only the Christmas lights on - still, quiet anticipation.
A glass of red wine in front of a toasty roaring fire (not in summer!)
Sitting outside with a glass of nicely chilled white wine, on a balmy summer's evening. (I'm not really an alchoholic!)
Watching my cats do most things, or just stroking them and listening to them purr in appreciation and stretch to let you rub their tummies.
Going to the garden with an empty basket/trug and coming back laden with fruit/veg/flowers wearing a silly grin!
Having people make appreciative murmers and comments at the end of a meal you've slaved over.
Watching most wildlife - especially ducks and swans - especially when they land on the water.

I'm sure there are loads more. I'm going all gooey inside!

Rainbows, walking through autumn leaves, teaching my grandchildren to splash in puddles (and joining in), looking at fresh snow all crisp and clean, dewdrops on spider webs, sitting in front of the fire with a nice glass of red on a winters evening, looking through the seed catalogues planning next year's crops - I'm running on aren't I?

being up before sunrise and watching the sun come up through my kitchen window whilst having my first cuppa - my quiet times...

a clear night when the moon is at her fullest and lights up my son's bedroom.

Watching my son fall asleep on the sofa whilst still wrapped in a huge towel -after a hard days play and 'home-grown' dunky-egg and a warm bath - makes me realise what a wonder he is!

Walking out in the morning and smelling the first chimney smoke of the autumn. My kids faces on Xmas morning and the feeling it gives me when they give me a squeezy hug. A glass of port in front of a roaring fire and a hug from my OH. I guess I am a touchy feely kinda person.
