I can honestly say I havent suffered with pmt. I am now of an age not to worry about it.
If I say the grass needs cutting my OH says you know where the mower is and if I cut the grass I have done it wrong and made a mess, broke the mower last time now I wait for it to be fixed and the grass needs cutting again lol
OH had to iron himself a shirt this morning cos I havent done any and he has run out lol

    and ends with backache

I threw a packet of Kit Kats at an ex boyfriend many years ago - but that was as bad as it got, honest!

Farmer Gyles, that's not good at all. I was very well aware of what I was putting everyone through, which is why I took the extreme measures that I did to sort it out.

My OH has fairly efficiently run the house for the last 6 months while I couldn't, and helps out with things like the washing up etc when I'm fit. He does do some stuff that is excessively annoying (I'm still waiting for him to stick half a dozen tiles back on the kitchen wall about 5 years after they were taken off ) but I'm certainly not perfect...

yup, you're probably excessively annoying to him sometimes ..... it's normal .....
but the main point i was making in the first place is that people should think themselves lucky to have partners ...........
                i've given up looking ........

Isn't this what courtship is supposed to be about...........so you find out all these things BEFORE you get married or live with your partner?

If you knew about it before........live with it!

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to offend anyone.

Please don't assume that I haven't been through the pain of monthlys. For 3 hours I am doubled up in agony, throw up and have acute diarrhoea. I have also passed out numerous times. I might not get suicidal, but I am well and truly housebound (if I'm lucky enough to be at home). Sorry if I tarred everyone with the same brush.

I never had PMT thank heaven, but I get strange feelings with the old Tropical Surges. Sometimes I feel quite ill but not in any way I can define. I occasionally have to turn music off because it has an annoying rhythm and makes me feel anxious - not that I would even notice when not hot flushing. Wierd innit!

Are you sure it was down to the 'mood swings'?

Nope, just checked and I am definitely a man.

Even though LadyWayne has just bought a new kettle which changes colours - pretty though it is I don't just stand and watch the kettle. I'm off doing other things in the meantime - how else would you get anything done?

If you can toast and spread in the time it takes to boil a kettle can I suggest that you either buy a new kettle, or only fill it with the water you need.

Before I got married, but was living with now ex he would clean cook help with the garden do DIY(slowly) the only jobs he didn't do was clean the toilet and iron.
Got maried and within six months he stopped! when I had HB he did little to help, saying she wants her mum! Often he would get in from work around3pm, Hb would be playing I would be sat down with a cuppa(often the only one I had actually sat down to drink) he would say what have you done all day? Dinner was prepared washing done, baby bathed dressed fed shopping done etc! Divorce soon followed!

You will FG, sounds like its way past time a nice woman found you. Giving up looking is a good way to start. Seriously!!

When I met mine I wasn't expecting it to be anymore than one of my usual flings, but pickle came along and now, 10 years down the line we are making everything 'official' in a few short weeks.
