I would like to give myself up I have been growing a pumpkin plant for my daughter, who wanted to grow one from seed .Well over the last few days it's leaves have looked limp so today I pulled it up and the root has been eaten by sumat..So I did a bad thing and got here another plant from the GC should tell her or is ignorance bliss ?.. Have you done anything bad?

Oh yes, you did the right thing changing the pumpkin but don't tell her unless she questions the fact that the new one has more (or less) leaves than the poorly one, or if it turns out to have a different type of fruit than the seed she planted. Have I done anything bad? course I have!!! I'm admitting nothing either! Though there was the case of the eight year old goldfish that my daughter won at the fair, it would probably have gone on to be ten but she found it doing the backstroke herself one morning.Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.
