    seriously, advertising is all about selling things that don't work. Otherwise you'd find out by word of mouth, by people on here saying "try this, it's brilliant"

      After many years of forking out for hayfever remedies for Madmax, we were told that he can get medication on prescription from the doctor. Works for us as there are no prescription charges in Wales. Perhaps your doctor could give you a large enough prescription that it makes it worth the charge.

        In general I would agree, but a company the size of Boots cannot afford to do this at present. They are too easy to find and demand your money back and/or other compensation.
        The Sale of Goods Act makes it very tricky for a famous business to sell things that do not do what the advert says....
        Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
