Really glad that my car is mine (bought and paid for by me) and in the past damaged by me. Partner has his own car which we tend to use more of a weekend (he works in another country during the week). Never critisise his driving as he'd probably have a go at mine. As I'm not a morning, don't tend to have a conversation about anything in the morning as don't make a lot of sense.

Luckily it's just a figure of speech - My 5.5 / 6's are plenty big enough to put in holes on regular basis

A lot of the wheelchair carriers I see (I tend to notice such things when OH is driving) are Berlingos. They seem to be popular for the purpose.
We have a Kangoo 4x4 (they've stopped making those now) because we wanted something that sort of shape, with lots of ground clearance, and not too big engine. It suits us, obviously not to everyone's taste!

Our road is fast degenerating into more pothole than surface and an off roady type thing is really what we need too - something more robust than either of our vehicles.

Matts van keeps loosing stuff from underneath and it bugs the main cars suspension to heck and back. However, we brought the main car with the view of keeping it until it goes to the scrap heap in the sky so we'll just have to patch and repair as and when.
