Ok this may be me being really stupid, but i didnt know that snails lay eggs. I guess thinking about it logically they must do and its obvious. But to be honest ive never gave it much thought. I realised today when i went out to check the veggies. There was a snail in my container, and i tried to pull him off but he was stuck so i put a spade into the soil and leavered him out. When he came up there were lots of little white balls stuck to him.....or rather her. lol. So i had to throw him over the fence in a very pathetic girly way.
