Best place to buy wood chip?

Got fed up with having to deweed all the time so have decided to stick down some wood chip a long the side on the garden then put some plants along there is some nice pots, could anyone recommend where I can get wood chips from that is pretty cheap, not sure how many bags I'm gonna need but I reckon possibly about 10 bags.

Got mine from Lidl, can't remember how much but certainly cheapest I found.

How many litres was it Lotti because I saw Makro doing 2 100L bags for £8, I guess your not gonna get much cheaper than that.

Me too - I get two loads a year, they are big loads if I put it in wheellie bin liners it would fill about 150.

The chickens even when allowed to free range in the garden hang around the run (18 x5) they love the stuff and it also go on my paths at the allotment.

Just phone a few of your local tree surgeons and you'll soon find some.

Look out for houses where trees are being cut near you. We got loads from the house across the road, much cheaper for the guys to drop it 100 yards away than to transport it somewhere else once they've finished.

I would look thru yellow pages and ask your local tree surgeons to deliver you some, I always do!
