I've got one right outside my frontage - now I am quite cute at picking up what is badger/fox poo (by eye) - but guess what I keep finding? - despite £400 threat of fine!

The pavements are much better now that dog owners are more responsible about their animals' deposits. It's a shame we can't oblige cat owners to do the same...............

There's a neighbor who takes his dog to the playground for a poo every evening. No, he doesn't pick up after him, either.

i have a dog, and feel it is my duty as a dog owner to clean up. i hate to see dog muck on the street and if i do see anyone not cleaning up i would report them.
on the cat owners i think it's a little difficult unless they follow their cats.

Here in Wales, we're going to have the signs in two languages .. English and Polish (poor local Welsh joke!)

Even in deepest darkest rural France when I'm out with the boy, if he goes on the road I clean it up. When its down in the ditches (where he normally goes) I dont bother tbh as nobody goes in there.
I was in Paris recently and it was everywhere, far worse than I remember it being anywhere in the UK. Was with a French mate who told me that they have laws similar to the UK, but that there were only about half a dozen flics responsible for enforcement. We sat in a bar for about an hour or so, and I must have seen 20 or so dogs get dragged into the road rather than doing it on the pavements.
Lack of personal responsibility perhaps?

Our village sports field has the usual signs up at all entrances. Recently surprised to see local police exercising their dogs there ! Who on earth do we report THEM to ?!
