Where were you when I needed you!!
I, too, sew (and a bit of silversmithing). When I lived in South Wilts I had no affordable outlet for my work and so my business never really took off.

Here, I am rebuilding our house for a 'hobby'.

I am very keen to have a go at millinery though.

Does anyone else on here play xbox? This is one of my other hobbies, I also own a Sinclair C5. This is a big hobby, I love going out on it and driving about. So much fun!

Volunteer - dog charities - educating kids to look out for animals, transporting dogs to new homes, Cooking for elderly neighbours, and shooting as many rats as I come across ... oooh, thats sounds bad!

I dress up in medieval clothing, string my long bow and shoot arrows at clankies(knights) daft enough to stand in the field opposite me!! It is fantastic stress relief and brings out my inner meglamaniac!!
I also love painting, sewing and visiting castles and historical sites.
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. ~Author Unknown

Hve no time for hobbies anymore, with young famioly and my own business and a second job as a doorman, but BWAK (before wife and kids) I participated in a lot of stuff - rugby (played second row), drinking, hillwalking, drinking, climbing, drinking, ice climbing, drinking, competition sailing (as a winchgrinder), drinking, kayaking, drinking, wildlife photography, drinking and drinking.
Now it's veg, veg, veg - and a bit of shooting and very little drinking

Scrapbooking, silversmithing, computer gaming, scifi and fantasy books/tv/film, cooking. Wish I could sew, but all fabric hates me and thread ties itself in knots just to avoid being used by me.

(Assume that I'm writing this with a fully functioning right leg... )

I walk lots with my German Shepherd Pads and my friend and her dog. Cook, bake, preserve, help OH with brewing & winemaking. Read loads. Take lots of photographs. A bit of knitting. Beading in the winter months.

And for the last 4 months, an awful lot of my time has been taken up here

Awww sorry Tootles...sounds like I was way too late! In South Wilts, you'd have been well placed for most of our fairs! I have to say, and not with any modesty, I do have one of the best jobs going - most of the time!

I just adore sewing (I was one of those weird girls at school) it's almost a therapy. Having said that, if something I've designed doesn't work out it gets hurled across the workroom and I throw a wobbly.

Ebay is responsible for 99% of my fabric addiction. It's so easy to buy the most gorgeous fabrics from USA, and whilst we were at almost $2 to £1, very cheap too. Even just sitting looking at fabrics cheers me up - I should get out more

Part of the reason for me starting an allotment was to give me a hobby. Other than that I'm pretty one-dimensional.
