...in this job. I am on the brink of saying eff off to my boss and walking out. I have never been so close.
He has just come in and basically b*llocked 3 of us for having a pub lunch of 2 hours. This is not a regular thing and was for a birthday. The last time we had a pub lunch was before Christmas and he was there and quite happy to sit there for 2 hours. He wasn't invited as he was in a 2 day meeting and we knew there was no way he could go. After an almighty row last week about an expense claim, which involved what I can only describe as underhand, sly interference from his secretary who knows Jack S***, leading to him lying to us (he claimed somebody higher had overruled the expense claims, which they hadn't - I asked them msyelf) and nearly costing me £60, I have had it. I have applied for two jobs already this week but am wondering if I should just say, 'Stuff It' and do some temping while I find something else. I am starting to find it really hard to drag myself here in the mornings, now and I've even had chest pains with the stress.
