I got in from the field on Friday evening at 08:30. No time even for a wash, nevermind a proper dinner, as we had to deliver somebody's van then go shopping, so it was straight out again (after a brief kitty cuddle).
I set off at 07:30 am to Cambridge the next morning and sat in the examiner's meeting all day, getting back home at 6:30pm. I popped straight round to my neighbours', as they were going away on Sunday, so I needed the key and instructions, then we left for a BBQ at 7pm (very quick shower!).
Got in after 11pm, then it was up at 07:30 next morning to go and meet OH's Uncle, who went with me to collect my new exmoor pony from Sittingbourne. We got back just before lunchtime, but I still couldn't rest, as I needed to mark standardisation scripts (to make sure we are being consistent with the mark scheme). Then at 6pm it was all go again as hay bales were lying in a field with my name on it, so me and OH went to load those up onto the truck and trailer (thankfully only 110 this year). We then delivered 80 to my friend's hubby (the one whose wife had the accident) and then delivered 30 to my field store. OH then had to collect his van from his yard (we were using a tipper truck), so I went via home while he put the trailer and truck away, then dropped him off there. I finally fell into bed at 11:10pm, with no shower after hay making.
I'm knackered!!! However, I didn't struggle with the hay making at all, so all my swimming and extra horse riding has paid off - I'm actually very fit!
