  • Cool Book Titles

    Have just been browsing Amazon, and came across a book called

    Hen and the Art of Chicken Maintenance

    Love it! That's really tickled me (simple things etc etc) Inventive use of the language is something I love, and always find Terry Pratchett and J K Rowling books brilliant for that reason.

    Anyone know any more cool titles?

    I thought the "Eats shoots and leaves" (I always forget where the comma goes) was a brilliant title.

      How to Feed Your Whole Family a Healthy Balanced Diet, with Very Little Money and Hardly Any Time, Even If You Have a Tiny Kitchen, Only Three ... - Unless You Count the Garlic Crusher...: Amazon.co.uk: Gill Holcombe: Books

      I also have a book called "Is it me, or is everything Sh*t?" which I quite enjoy reading occasionally.

      And one a friend bought for me:

            I may have to have a little Amazon session!

            I bought 'Don't Sleep, There Are Snakes' and 'A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius' based solely on the titles!

                  Thoroughly enjoyable read too - the inspiration (if not near copy) for Blade Runner film, also a fav of mine.

                        One of my favs is:

                        The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time

                        It's a truly lovely story which made me laugh out loud and cry out loud too. Very sweet, definitely a little unusual, a simply gorgeous and normal story about growing up by a chap called Mark Haddon

                          Oh Yes! Haven't they produced 'The Soddit' too?

                          I also love this;

                          Cool titles!
