I like HFW! I find River Cottage gives me inspiration to try stuff... have baked the mashed-potato-lemon-drizzle cake from a couple of weeks ago, and it was fab!
Plus, ideas about jam, brewing and some of the recipes (although NOT slugs) are welcomed!
I think it's nice to have someone like that on TV... of course, my veg patch would look that good if I had several staff to help me!

I have the book and its okay, for readability its good but marks out of 10 then 5 or 6, for actual instruction its only a bit better than whats on the back of a seed packet, Carole Klein or Andi Clevely books in my opinion are better.Originally posted by smallblueplanet View PostComment
