I've asked everyone in my department for their 2-litre drinks bottles so I can make more elderflower champagne.... that makes me 'funny' apparantly...

Also, some wag has changed the nameplate on my door to read "Barbara Good" this morning

The things I do are most definitely not "funny". I know this because my wife told me so in no uncertain terms.

However, this was after a bottle of my home made ginger beer exploded in the kitchen covering the cooker, fridge, cupboards etc. And all I was doing was "letting a bit of gas out". I suppose that temporarly clouded her judgement.

By the way only use old pop bottles for home made fizzy. They are designed for the pressure unlike the caps on water bottles which will blow off before fully unscrewed when you're not expecting it. Alternativly open outside as I will be doing (living) from now on.
