Not really my cup of tea, but clearly a very talented but troubled man.
RIP
I think Michael had "certain health" issues for a number of years which were not really looked into/treated.
Michael was not my scene musically but I do think his "Thriller" album is very good(I have a copy).
Just a foot note many rock/pop stars are deemed mad/crazy by others that don't understand & the world would be a sadder place without the likes of Michael Jackson.
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.
Brian Clough
He certainly entertained a lot of people which I can appreciate but not my thing at all, didn't care for the music and I don't think he was 'troubled' I think he was seriously weird especially in his relationship with children.
I wasnt a fan of Micheal Jackson but I am shocked to hear of his passing, I heard on the news that he had been taken to hospital last night and woke to hear he had died.
Charlies Angels was a favourite of mine.
RIP Both of you

Apparently we should overlook that because of his other talents!
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.
Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.xx

I don't, particularly, want to defend Michael Jackson; but don't you think some people are "weird" because they are "troubled"?
I think anyone that can survive such intense scrutiny and media attention from the age of 5 in a place like La La Land deserves a certain amount of respect.
Strange as he may have been - he was good at doing what he did.
As far as I know he's not a close relative of anybody on here - he's dead, sympathy for his family, he's a personality/celeb who made music which lots of people liked. Time to move on, forget all the media hype which arguably helped to make and then tried to destroy him, other people who are equally important to their families and may make a more, lower profile tho equally significant contribution to the people and communities around them are dying every day, as a chum said elsewhere, let's not make another Princess Diana out of him.
