  • My Favourite Sandwich

I've just discovered my favourite sandwich is egg and cress. I've tried plenty of weird and wonderful combinations over the years so plain old egg 'n' cress just didn't do it for me, but a new laid egg, homegrown cress and homemade brown bread......you just can't beat it.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Cheese and marmalade! Strong cheddar and bitter orange marmalade, yummy, but no good if you're weight watching. Does anyone else eat this weird combination, my dad had them every day for work?

It's a tough choice for me between egg & cress or Crusty white roll with mature cheddar, mayo & pickled courgette.

OK - not just one but these are my top 3!

BLT - made with the best components you can afford.

Hot Sausage and Cream Cheese with a squirt of tom sauce.

Home made (or shop bought) Indian/Mexican chicken strips, lashings of mayo and mango chutney.

Preferably all served between a good quality brown bread.

Ooh, hot roast pork with apple sauce in a big bap and a bit of crackling on the side. Me and Charlie sometimes share one from a stall at Richmond market, we sit on the memorial steps to eat it if its sunny. Brilliant. The stall is good too - all different roast meat sarnies, its called The Loin King :-)
