Coventry is a little far for me, but I notice you don't have Blood, fish and bone. It's not something I use much of, but I do like to sprinkle a fair amount in the planting hole when setting out pumpkins and squash and you wouldn't believe the problems I've had getting hold of some this year, neither trading-shed on either site had any - they charge 50p a kilo when they have it, and no-one else had any in stock except B&Q who were charging £6 for 3 kilos - I passed on that. Is there a shortage this year? I did eventually find some for I think it was £1.99 for 1.5 kilos in Wilko when I went for my free watering-can, but by then I'd already done the planting out.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

          Hi

We had no problem getting FBB, but as NOG said the price has increased this year, along with Growmore which most of my Lotty are using.

The August issue of GYO has a voucher for a free watering-can, last month it was free tomato feed, I hadn't claimed the free feed, but as the expiry date hadn't passed when I went to pick up the watering-can I claimed them both at the same time. I normally dig a far larger hole than is necessary when planting pumpkins then fill it back in, layering homemade compost, soil and a sprinkling of BFB. This year I just left the BFB out of the mix, but then bought some from Wilko which I'm going to use as a top dressing if it ever stops raining for long enough.
