I'm planning to go to the Royal Show tomorrow (Thursday), and I have been looking at the Exhibitor list, I see GYO magazine have a stall there.

Wonder what will be on offer..?

        Royal Show. Stoneleigh

        Well i survived.

It was a bit quiet really, spent about 5 hours there in all, saw loads, generally avoided the Farming and horsey area, did pat some big working horse's though.

Never saw GYO if they had a stand there at all.

Bought several different Sausage packs from different producers, just had some for tea, very yummy.

Countryside area was small, saw hounds, dog agility, end of the hawks flying, dancing sheep show.

Lots of stands selling clothing, (some tat), joined Buglife charity, petted Assistance dogs for the disabled. Saw giant inflatable sheep.!

picked up lots of leaflets and booklets to read through, pinched some free seeds from RHS stand for kids.

The Horticulture section was very poor, some flower arranging competition, some allotment demo, (not bad), some bits for sale.

The bee & bee product display was very good, leaflets galore and a produce comp.... jars of honey, combs, honey cakes, mead, bee photos etc...

Talked to some stallholders about how this year was going and the reply was very disappointing, last two days really quiet and lots of people have already given up on the show. Shame really.

Will now attempt to post some photos.!

I love agricultural shows. This one is a little far for me, but it's such a shame that we're losing it.
