Preserves for charity!

Have spent the day making preserves for my local charity to sell on their next stall. But worried now that they might not sell, would anyone out there buy the following if you saw them?
Traditional Home Grown and home made rapberry jam, Rhubarb Orange and Ginger Jam, Strawberry Jam, and a selection of Chutneys.

The charity is South Yorkshire English Springer Spaniels, I have two rescued Springers and wanted to do something to help out.....

yes and pickles and lemon curd and honey as well..... especially if i could pat your doggies.

In the last year and a half I have sold over 400 jars of jams, jellies, chutneys and pickles - if you make them, they will buy them !

When I was a kid I had to tell girlfriends who came to tea not to put their hands on the table during the feeding frensey or they will get a fork in them.......

well it will be like that when you put your jars out...they will rip your arms off.

We have a market here and quite a few stalls sell home made produce as yet I havent bought any as I make my own but I have seen some very tempting ones. If it was a charity stall rather than a business I would be more tempted, doesnt mean I wouldnt buy from a business stall though, usually its cos I am skint or dont need any.

i made some for our plant sale a few weeks ago and they flew of the table, we could have sold it 10 times over, next year we intend to make loads more

Mum's church have various fund raisers throughout the year, the main ones being the Summer Fete and Christmas Fayre, at both the busiest person is the lady who sells her own preserves and if you want some of her famous whisky marmalade you have to be there very, very, early (or know someone who runs the plant stall who can buy you a couple of jars before they open )

I'm sure you will sell everything. Your charity sounds a super cause - and if you take your doggies they could sell some too. Good luck.

They will definately fly off the tables! Esp the rhubarb concoction - will defo be trying that next year! and a great cause too (have a rescued springer/collie so very biased!).

My OH will gladly fork over money for Rhubarb and Ginger jam, and his wallet has moths in it!! You'll do really well and wish you'd made more, I sure of it.

Homemade things always sell well at these things in my experience, like the homemade cakes.
Wish I was nearer I would buy some
