Well it definately seems every cloud has a silver lining and every silver lining its cloud.
It's my step-dad's 65th this year, and to celebrate he's taking the whole family to southern spain. However, just to throw a spanner in the works, I've been diagnosed with a condition that requires me to go to hospital 3 times a week.
So we've been trying to sort out getting my treatment over there and at last we've sorted it, so I can at least go. (That's the good news)
Bad news is: The hospital is an hour and a half away, the sessions are at 8:00 in the morning (all 6 of them!) and to put the icing on the cake, I have to pay cash for the sessions because it's a private hospital (although we can claim these back), but it's going to cost somewhere in the region of £1,500 for all 6 sessions!
Still, I think the good news outweighs the bad. And I'll get to compare the Spanish health system to the British one (while everyone else is comparing the quizine!)
Anyone else had any "Good News / Bad News" lately?
