Yes, but I thought you had to register yourself once you got a username to register. So maybe it is a different Alison. And NO Alice ! Despite my 3 requests. No idea what is going on.
I think if they are promoting themselves on this forum, it is time the moderators were looking at this. Is this your department L J ?

I think you have to put yourself on the list Alison, and you can't do it without a username, so I would say it's a different Alison.

Well I did mail them and ask for that user name so wasn't sure - will mail them again and see if I get anywhere.

Sincere apologies for the delays. It is somewhere between a technical fault and the deluge of entries we have had. We have been (are) swamped with interest and it would appear that not all emails have been reaching us.

However I am confident the issue has been resolved this morning and if you now email that address on the big jim page I will email you back within 24 hours with a unique ID that will allow you to update the leaderboard.

Just to explain the process and the Alice/Alison issue...

When I get an email asking to be registered, I put your user name on the competition page. I then email you back with your user ID (password) which you use to update your position on the leaderboard.

Alison - we did have an Alison register the other day and an email was sent in reply. Without giving out the email address, it contained reference to the American equivalent of a yeti. If that doesn't make sense then it's probably a different Alison.

Oooh that will be me - although I had to think for a bit - didn't get the reply e-mail though but that could be me, will chase so that I get my username OK
