How about a wish list for the Christmas stocking?

I would like a barometer that I could set so that the weather is perfect when I have the opportunity to get onto the plot.

The ability to know what I want to do .
The energy to do it .
The stamina to see it through to the end .
The time to enjoy it .
and a few friends to enjoy it with.

And a sofa to hide behind when it all goes wrong

I want my allotment. I thought I was getting mine in August. It was very exciting. I planned it and designed it. I was even going to have a little lavender border. Then the land was sold and I am now on a waiting list of 33. ( it is very slow moving too) in another site.
The annoying part is that my garden is so small I can't swing a cat. It is all cut into a rock slope. I have to grow everything in pots. To say that my raspberries and asparagus are not happy... grrrrrrrrrrrr

A pair of comfy wellies that magically mould themselves round my feet when I step out the door, are sheepskin lined for warmth and are somehow spotlessly clean again as soon as I step inside.

A huge solar-powered propogator for my seedlings. And a greenhouse/polytunnel. And no blinkin' sheep around. Grr.

                              Dear Santa

This year I have been very good and helpful to lots of people. I have tried really hard with my recycling and cutting down on food miles, and we have even started to buy our shopping locally.

Since I have been so good, please can I have:
                              A garden which doesn't flood
                              New carpets downstairs
                              Some established strawberries and raspberries
My field ploughed up and ready to plant
More quality time with Mr OWG (please ignore him if he says he doesn't want this)
                              Oh, and world peace

                              Yours hopefully
