Age Difference for Couples/Partners

These days is probably not the age but how many kids are tagging along.

When I moved here I thought that my neighbour house consisted off mother and father and son, (the son looked about 35ish, mum an dad about 60) the other day there was an ambulance outside the house and I asked the son how his mum was - err it turns out it was his wife and who I thought was the father was in fact the wife brother , that hole in the ground is never around when you need it most ☻

oops! just like when i asked the woman in the playground how long she had togo b4 she had her baby, she said, i AM not pregnant!

my partners 13 years younger than myself when we got together she had 2 children so i became her partner and the daddy to here 2 children I then told her that I will retire over a decade before me so from then on she would be my retirement/Pension Scheme

My OH is eight years younger than me.
My half brother though has a girlfriend who is 14 years older. His mother, my dad's second wife' hit the roof when he brought her home four years ago when he was 18 and she was 32. We told her to relax as it wouldn't last... Four years later they're still going strong.

Don't know really how I would feel if pickle brought home a much older man (when she is old enough anyways!!), got a fair while to wait until I find out I hope.!

When I was 20 I had a fling with a man of 37, and my husband-to-be is 9 years older than me.
I have never been attracted to guys close to my age, even at school I didn't have crushes on my peers, always the ones a year or 3 above.

well where shall we start! i am know 41 and my ex is now 52!!!! hence why i left the age gap soon showed!!!! we married when I was 25 he was 35, that was ok but as soon he hit later 40's it showed! hence i am now single yee ha! the best decision ihave ever made!! lol!

My ex OH is 19 years younger than me, we had a great time while it lasted.
Now she's with someone near her own age who won't even let her go out by herself, the last time we spoke she said she wished she was still with me, tough eh.

Only 18 months or so between Mr OWG and myself (him being the oldest!)

Largest age gap for me was when I was 15 my boyfriend was 21... what can I say? He had a car and a job!....

My best friend and her hubby have a 10 year age gap (she is 30, he is 40)... it doesn't seem to make much difference unless we're playing Trivial Pursuit!!

I'm 55 and my partner is 43. We have a 6 year old and a 19 month old ( do they keep me young or make me feel very old?? - The jury is still out on that one !)
I came out of a 25 year marriage - a (now) 25 year old son and a 21 year old daughter. So a huge age gap between offspring too !
The only thing that shows up our age difference is musical taste, but not in the way you'd expect, you see, she is stuck in the 80's ( the worst decade for music, in my opinion) whereas although I still like the slightly obscure 60' and 70's stuff that I grew up with, I also try to keep up to date with new bands too - this includes going to gigs (I'm the sad old git, Dad dancing in the corner!). OH is not interested in new stuff and doesn't remember the old stuff ! Other than that we are pretty much on the same wavelength with lots in common including the determination to laugh our way through life whenever possible.
Age is just a number - quite a big number in my case, but just a number. Age is an attitude. The pipe and slippers is definately not for me. Rock till you drop and don't conform just because it's expected of you.
As for the future? Well don't worry about that- live for the 'now' because life's too short.
