The heatwave should arrive in Staffordshire on the 25 July and last until the 8 August as that's when we'll be away on holiday.
That'll do me as long as it stretches to the north west. I'm going to spend some time on Anglesey and it gets a bit bleak there when the weather is on a downer. Roll on Summer
I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!!
On a plus point, today was forecast as being bobbins but has actually been quite nice and I needed my sunglasses on at the lottie this afternoon. Hopefully tomorrow will be better than forecast also as I need to do some digging before I plant out some brassicas.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
I think our weather may be about to turn....
But we have had a long warm and dry spell (apart from storm thurs eve) and it has been great along the beach road and glorious views (I love living here)

I will still be mostly wearing my 3/4 shorts until November.
I remember Claire Nasir (GMTV weather lady) looking all smug when one of the presenters said to her (during the wee hot spell we had some weeks ago) "and well done Claire, because you predicted that we'd have a long hot summer...."
Don't mind the temperature so much, enjoying the long days - but it was quite dark last night.
Dull and grey here today, but warm. All my holiday laundry just had another good rinse! It's perking up a bit, and everything's grown like mad whilst we were away, and I now have an addiction to home-grown Peas - gonna grow half an acre of 'em next year lol!

I am sure we will get our grey skies sometime - probably bang in the middle of August!
