    Hi

    Can anyone help me.

I have had a message about a item I am selling, the buying wants to buy the item now and has offered me a price I am happy with but how do I go about this? No bids have been made for the item.

    Many thanks
    Bye

I believe it is possible to remove an item and relist as 'buy it now' which a seller once did for something I wanted. Whatever you do DO NOT sell it outside of ebay once it has been on there. There are enough ways a buyer can mess you about INSIDE the ebay system, without abandoning the site half-way through (and it would hardly be surprising if ebay took a dim view of this).

Are you close enough to offer a collect and pay in person arrangement? I think there is a facility to list it with the wording ' seller retains the right to end listing early as it is advertised for sale locally'.

You just need to click on REVISE YOUR ITEM and then add a BUY IT NOW option

And e-mail your customer to say that you are doing this.

Be wary. Despite the sob story, people usually only do this because they think it's undervalued and want the item cheap, or they want to scam you in some way.
