  • A Virtual Grapevine Xmas Panto?

    Hi Gang,

Inspired as I was by Jennie's posts the other day about her performing in Panto this past week (Alladin) I was wondering whether we should have a bit of banter doing our own Online Pantomime?

First off we'd need to decide a suitably GYO related Panto to do, may I suggest either Jack and the Beanstalk or Mother Goose, as they both have at least a passing GYO theme in the title at least!

As for cast, well after some of the posts by NTG and Snadger recently perhaps they'd be suitable for the Ugly Sisters?

So come on all, lets get into the spirit of things and see what we can come up with! Oh yes we will!! Oh no we wont!! Oh yes we will!
    Blessings

          lovely idea

Can I be in it please?
I love panto; played the witch in Cinderella once at school , did my own makeup aged 10 and frightened all the smalls. Wrote a panto a few years ago - Wobbin Hood, which was performed at the local labour club (Maid Marion had a lisp!) Robin and Marion got divorced during rehearsals; Friar Tuck found better things to do on the night, and I wrote, produced and acted in it (unintentionally) I have some experience!

If it is Jack and Beanstalk can I be the cow please - at least I can sit down then!
Who is going to be the beanstalk? Will Little Weed be in it, and Bill and Ben?

Sounds great fun, any parts left or can I paint the scenary?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

                  parts left

We haven't got Jack or the Giant yet, let alone Bill and Ben and Little Weed.
                  Which would you like?

Am too tall for little weed and doesn't Jack have to wear tights - really not sure if the world is ready for that! - so suppose it'll have to be the giant or is that a role for one of the guys?

Oh Nick.... I love the outfit... nicely finished off with the wellies!

I suppose with the username 'Shortie' it rules me out from being the beanstalk!
