Help please

I would love to put some pictures of our allotment on here, and also to have an avatar and my photo on display, but can't seem to manage it.
I've got pictures on my computer in Adobe photoshop, but can't get too them.
I've tried searching the threads for previous advice but didn't have any luck - maybe I was searching for the wrong phrase - upload pictures.
Can someone help please?
