Well I've seen a horse fly
I've seen a dragon fly
I've seen a house fly
(Laughing)
I’ve seen all that too
I've seen a peanut stand,
Heard a rubber band,
I've seen a needle that winked it's eye.
But I be done seen about everything
When I see a Thunder Fly
What you say boy?
I said when I see a Thunder Fly
I seen a front porch swing,
Heard a diamond ring,
I seen a polka-dot railroad tie.
But I be done seen bout everything
When I see a Thunder Fly
Ratatatatt Dooo Dooo Dooww Wowww
I seen a clothes horse, he r'ar up and buck
And they tell me a man made a vegetable truck
I didn't see that, I only heard
But just to be sociable, I'll take your word.
I heard a fireside chat,
I saw a baseball bat
And I just laughed till I thought I'd die.
But I'd been done seen about everything
When I see a Thunder Fly
Bow Shaa Badadada Dee Doo
Yeedadaddadat Datatat Dadadada
But I'd be done seen bout everything
When I see a Thunder Fly
(Yes it will)
When I see a Thunder Fly

we have had loads of them, the come in swarms. I have had to vacum them from the ceilings and walls a couple of times already when I left the kitchen door open and they swarmed in
I now have one as a permanent reminder .... it somehow got behind the screen on my laptop and is stuck there

Nice one TEB, I enjoyed that.
Thunder flies - never heard of them. Googled, and they seem to be thrips. Don't have them. My DH says he knows them as corn ants. Glad we don't have them.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

I think they're also known as Thrips. I posted about a month ago that I've got one (now deceased) inside my poota screen. Had several more in there since but they're still moving about and have now gone since I turned it on - probably too warm!
They drive me daft, I'm scratching like a flea-bound dog now at the thought of themLast edited by Glutton4...; 31-07-2009, 07:02 PM.All the best - Glutton 4 Punishment
