picture problems (again)

I followed the advice given yesterday and got the picture re-sizer programme, which has allowed me to post a couple of pictures, but would not allow me to put some others on.
Also will not allow me to have an avatar or upload a profile picture.

The avatar is on the web at etribes.com/madderbat so I can't understand why I cant get it onto here.

Error message says "Unable to save image"

Help appreciated. I'm no techie, but even our resident server manager (20 y old son) couldn't help either.
