Thanks to Sarzwiz, I'm now the proud owner of a couple of books by Mary Norwak and Babs Honey - Farmhouse Cooking Books one and two.
I love reading old recipe books, to see how things were cooked in the past. Here are a couple of the strangest recipes I've ever read:
Rook Pie/Potted Rook and, wait for it - those of a delicate nature look away now: Dorset Lambs Tail Pie! YUK!
I kid you not!
What is the strangest recipe you've ever come across?
PS If anyone wants to know the details just say and I'll post them in the Kitchen section.
