Course we remember you (as it happens, you were the very first person to 'speak' to me when I joined the Vine ).

Hope you've been 'good busy' not 'bad busy'?
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

      Generally 'good' busy, thanks!

Rushed off my feet might be more to the point! Hazel and her cello and Pippa and her speech stuff added to me going back to work and.......

I can't believe it has been 8 months! Feels more like a couple of weeks.

                  Hi all, thanks!

Work is self employed as a Sales Leader for Avon - hours variable and while quite a bit is done on-line from home I don't tend to log on here because I would loose all track of time!

Hens are ok-ish, lost Blacky a couple of weeks ago, combination of old age and red mite. Red mite now under better control so the other four hens are fine.

Girls are fine, Pippa is her usual manic self - never stops! But at least we are getting somewhere with her speach and can understand 90+% of what she says, I have the suspicion that the rest is made-up words and we may never get there but hey, I'll take what I can get!

Hazel is just back (yesterday) from a week at guide camp so the house is noisy - and smelly! We have a very damp 8 man (old fashioned canvas) tent to pitch in the back garden to dry, ha ha!

TOH says hi! Could you please not chat to me as he wants the computer - cheeky wotsit! No supper for him!

He would also like me to ask for a good sweet chilli sauce recipe as we have about 100 chillies ripening and we don't want to waste them.

                  I had better go.....

                  Back later!

PigletWillie's Sweet Chilli Sauce recipe is posted somewhere in Season to Taste, or Making the Most and it's fab

Sounds like general holiday chaos rules at your place as well then?!

                          Hiya Shirley!

Last time I remember speaking to you you were going to get hens - have you?

By the way - we are in your neck of the woods from next weekend, any chance of a dry day or two?

Yup, we got hens! We have four but looking to get some more (demand outstripping supply)

Weather possibly okay from around 13th (but can you trust the forecast these days?) I take it you are here from 8th? Where are you staying - we could maybe meet up if you fancy?

We are in Pantglas - between the western tip of the Brecons and Camarthen. 8th to 16th. Would love to meet up - think we will only be a cople of hours from you as supposed to our more normal full day!
