bought some kilner jars of e bay specificaly because seller described each jar as individually bubble wraped to aviod damage.
parcel arrives "smashed" no packing whatsoever not even card inserts to seperate the jars.
what on earth did the numb nut who sent them to me think was going to happen ? paid around £8.00 for the privilage of having to now arse around getting a replacement from him !
why o why do i bother.

There are some classic numpties out there.

I tried to buy several packs of cards off a seller. They were listed at £0.99 + £3 P&P = £3.99
When I asked him how much for 6 packs he told me £25, when I advised that that was £1.06 more than buying them individually he offered a compromise of 3 packs for £12! I pointed out that it was supposed to get cheaper as I bought MORE, advised him to work on his discounts and thanked him for his time.

I had that with some cafetieres I bought. He put bubblewrap around the box, but not around the cafetieres ... and they arrived smashed.

At first he quibbled about refunding me, but he did eventually (grudgingly)

guess what,
today a well bubble wrapped parcel arrived with replacement jars!
i had E mailed the guy and pointed out the lack of packing contary to his description and how disapointed i was and expected an immediate response or else. didnt get a reply and was about to send last "chance" E mail when mates at work said there was a parcel for me.
since i have calmed down now i left reasonable feedback and said problem sorted out quickly.
