My female parent is a Mam - Irish blood in the veins!
I call her Ma now as Mam sounds a bit young for someone who's 88!
I think the Powers behind The Grapevine have gone back to their usual timescale. They'll announce the new MOM then forget to move the banner for a fortnight!

My mam was Mam, but I'm from the north-east and nearly all mams are 'Mam' up there

MOM's are usually announced on the Editor's Newsletter on the 1st of the month, but we haven't had it yet

I didn't get a PM at all before the announcement.....it was as much a surprise to me as everyone else.

It was a late nomination this month....I'm sure the powers that be will reveal all soon.
