              Stunning! We used to get them in our old garden, had one on my arm once. Didn't get a pic tho, coz I didn't want to move!

                I'm totally amazed he/she stayed there so long, I was chatting (quietly, yes I can do quiet) and took several pictures before he/she flew off grumbling about being papped diva!

                  Brilliant photo so clear,
                  don't be surprised if he dosn't write or phone..there a bit like that you know dragonflies..i knew one once..he said he'd keep in touch, but he just flew off into the sunset and left me here on mi Tod..

                    A lovely close up photo, we used to have one come into our garden the kids called him Arnie because he always came back.

                        He's not Arnie, he was a gold sort of colour so you can keep yours.

                            Beautiful I like dragonflies, when I went to Warick Castle nr. Wolverhampton in early July there was a lakey thing with loads of dragonflies, never got close enough to take a picture.

                              He's gorgeous, Piskie. I love Dragonflies and agree with Shirl, there's something very prehistoric about them.
                              Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.
