    Hello Peeps

The Cashier I saw at my local Barclay's this morning couldn't have been more helpful. New card on its way, and I have to check my account transactions again in a couple of days, as there are 1 or 2 genuine items due out, then it will all be put right.

Interestingly, she told me the most frequent places to be 'cloned' are the Internet (no surprise there, and I do take precautions) filling stations (the big ones are franchises, who pay their staff a pittance!) and Indian Restaurants!

No idea how true it might be, but there was a report a while back that the petrol stations where card cloning seems to happen are mostly run by persons from the northern parts of the Indian sub-continent (and apparently that is where the cloned cards are 'used').
There is a minimum wage law in this country, and anyone receiving less is probably working illegally.

Glad you got it sorted - I know banks get a hard time generally, but in the main they are staffed by helpful people.

Hope all is sorted soon and satisfactorily, could happen to any of us.
It was a bonafide email, honest! The email actually told me to go their homepage and then click on 'Your Account' to access orders etc. Just checked it again (you had me worried!) and it wasn't actually a link from the email, although the email did have my order details in it. It changed the order status to processing and was dispatched a couple of hours later. Have received the dodgy emails and it wasn't like that.
