Raspberries as they are less readily available, but then you can't beat home grown strawberries warmed in the sun on your own plants.

Have a bit of a shameful confession - I don't half find Valentine Warner attractive and I so know I shouldn't.....leaving the room with red face...

Normally I would've said raspberries, but our Alpine Strawberries went mad this year (first fruiting crop) and they were delicious; small, but delicious!

I homage to this poll I've decided to make dark chocolate pots with raspberries in, served with double cream for dessert when a friend comes to stay this weekend.

The smell of strawberries, lovely, but not the taste--too sharp. Ripe rasps. wonderful.

SL adds dark chocolate to the shopping list, as her OH brought in a HUGE tub of raspberries yesterday!!

I'd have to say both too I'm afraid ....
Sweet fresh strawberries...some can be utterly tasteless can't they???
Cooked raspberries -as some can be very tart...and some fresh ones have wiggly wrigglers inside looking back at you

Love strawberry jam- but can't stand all the little seeds in raspberry jam.

                      See- I'm an inbetweeny folks!

                        Raspberries for me please!

Never grown Strawbs at home, so my only experience is shop bought, which are often watery and tasteless and a huge disappointment. I have grown my own Raspbs this year (for the first time) and they are like little jewel coloured taste explosions (especially the Autumn ones)!! My OH keeps going round to the temporary raspberry patch and saying 'Oh, there aren't any raspberries today' and I think 'no, that's coz I got there first and snaffled them all! Mwah ha ha!

Has to be raspberries, despite having over 30 strawb plants Ive barely had a handful, on the other hand despite cutting down the fruiting canes in simpleton error the few rasp canes left standing have produced oodles !! ( I now know I have summer fruiting rasps)
Oh well we live and learn.

I'm voting for raspberries, because although I prefer strawberries and strawberry jam, they really don't like me - I get really bad stomach ache when I eat them fresh

Has to be raspberries, even though I grow strawberries and they're lovely. There's just something sooo delicious about a really ripe rasp. Especially when you are surrounded, as we are, by garden escapes in every hedge.
