As it's only a few days away from Xmas, what would you put on your list of garden reads for 2006. (One book and one magazine) My book would be Philp McMillan Browse "Helegan Fruit, Flowers and Herbs" and magazine "Grow Your Own"

GYO mag has got to be the only mag I'd pop on my must read list this year!

As for a gardening book, the only one I've read (so the only one I can recommend) this year so far is the Dr Hessayon Vegetable book, very good and lots of useful info, especially for a newbie grower like me!

If I was looking for a book I'd like to read, the the Allotment Handbook that NTG has recommended in a few other threads would be my first choice!

G.Y.O wins every time. Also find the Hessayon books useful although nothing beats advice from other Lottie holders!!
Apart from that all I want is the weather to get down to some digging!!
