this sounds like a lovely idea,
with regards to some graps living just a bit to far away, and others on a budget,or none campers, perhaps others could make a stay over available for them, anyone would be welcome at ours,

We would have spare space in our tent if we squeeze into the allotted space (8 man tent usually enjoyed by 4 of us)

I don't do tents, but being in the Midlands can pretty much get anywhere for a meet-up. Bring it on.

                  I can see it now.

Wonder if Pearl Jam would provide the music - I'll have a word on Tuesday.
I know I am going to sound old but who are Pearl Jam.

Count me in too, I amsure I can persuade OH to come along if not I will come on my own, I am guessing a weekend would be best for most.

                      and ends with backache

I might be able to persuade OH, he's not keen on camping, but I am, so for a night or so... a large event would be good, but I'd probably attend a local one if that was the way people wanted to go, (just been using txt speak, so had to type the above message again when I realised I'd carried it over )
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
