I wonder if the cat was taking a dump in the snake owners veg patch when the python got it?!

I wonder if the Cats owners were equally upset when Wilbur came home with Birds and Mice.
The only worry I would have would be for the paper boy. 13ft is a big snake. My phone has more Processing power than the Computers NASA used to fake the Moon Landings

I think this is very sad. Pests though cats may be this was someone's beloved pet and his owners must be grieving for him.
I was talking just last night to my nephew who asked me if the wild-life laws had been changed as he had seen wolve cubs advertised in the local paper!! (Poor things)
I thought that any species of animal that may be of a dangerous nature should be licensed and kept securely enclosed.
A cat is about the same size and weight as a new-born child and if that snake were very hungry............????? And they are by nature stealthy!!

Apart from getting a python, does anyone have any good ideas to stop cats going in your Garden??? I have so much trouble with cat mess, they just seem to use my gardens as toilets, I have tried so many different routes but they keep coming and digging up my gardenBetter to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot

how many children go blind every year because of cat/dog poo...
the statement that one could eat a baby is stupid; yes it could - but who would leave a baby unattended in a neighbours garden. i dont think that cats or dogs or similar pets should be kept. its an animal - its unpredictiable, doesnt matter how good it training is. look at people we are anilmals; most children are brought up well and well educated but they do make rash desicions.... never would i have a dog/cat

The RSPCA bit has me wondering....If I let my pet mouse - Rat - Bird out and it wandered into next doors garden and then next doors cat. Would the RSPCA warn the cats owner?
Its only cos it was a snake they are getting involved. My phone has more Processing power than the Computers NASA used to fake the Moon Landings

Much the same applies to cats, although avoiding situations is rather more difficult.
People loving non-human animals is an important part of the love for the environment which is the only hope the planet has!
BTW if the cat could get within snake range, the snake could get out, and was potentially a danger to pets in their own gardens. It is NOT ON for a large snake to be out of its 'home cage' unattended, not for ONE MINUTE.Last edited by Hilary B; 15-08-2009, 12:12 PM.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

Scardy cat plant - smells like cannabis but works really well as to stop them coming in. Its worked for us, only problem now is that we have mice and rats.
I think that story is horrific, I would be devastated if that were my cat. When i have a cat i always put a bell on it to stop it taking mice and birds, worked very well.We plant the seed, nature grows the seed, we eat the seed - Neil, The Young Ones
