i mac help needed plz

i want t copy a dvd onto the imac then burn it onto another disc.....its of a friends wedding do, anyone got any ideas how to do it?

Not too familiar with Mac's but have you a burning program such as "Toast" or "Imac DVd creator"? - if so it's just a matter of putting the original in the drive, opening the software and selecting "Copy" the application will take a copy, instruct you when to put blank dvd in and that's it!!

lots of free burning programs for imac. one thing to look at - have you got at least 4.7GB of free hard drive space? part of the process is to make a replica image of the DVD onto the hard drive, not enough space will give an error code.

Toast 9 Titanium is what I use. I bought it a while back and it has been invaluable to my business.

Save it onto your imac, then download onto a new disc.

Just checking but do you have a super drive or combo drive in your imac?
