Depressed, now

I was soooo depressed yesterday. A reet proper come-down after the highs of U2 and all the 80s stuff on Sat. ABC, T'Pau, Go West and Nick Heywood (Haircut 100) were also there (on Sat, with Human League, not with U2, ha ha). Cool! Stage on Sat was a let down after U2's effort, though, lol...What a fabulous weekend and luvverly weather, too. Also went to a wedding on Sat, but ashamed to say we had to do a runner before the evening session, to get to the concert - oops! Back at work for a rest, today. Must have slept 9hrs last night, as I was in bed by 10:15!

Wow, what a stage! I heard Boner going on about it yesterday but that's fab. No wonder you are feeling a tad low. I always get a bit sad every august BH weekend as we would have bee at Reading Festival - but no more. I couldn't take it the last time I went...

Now, festivals are one thing I cannot do - sweaty people in crowded places and a complete disregard of hygiene. Was dreading the whole public loo situation on Fri, but the toilets at Wembley are quite nice! Saturday involved Portaloos, so me and OH crossed legs until we got home (our own legs, not with each other - that would have made walking difficult!!)

Now, festivals are one thing I cannot do - sweaty people in crowded places and a complete disregard of hygiene. Neither can I - which is why I was always backstage and hired a boat for the week; showers, cooked food, clean toilets, and alcohol that wasn't watered down.
