Where can I find an interactive map please?

I'm looking for a (preferably free) map of the UK I can download, and then plot places on it.

OH suggested getting an atlas and a felt tip! But I want to be able to refer to the 'flags' and see what they are - perhaps an address and phone number or whatever.

I'm sure this is available and seem to remember there was a Grapes map where you could plot your plot and we could all see who lived close.

Any suggestions would be welcome, it is just a 'me' thing so I don't want to pay the earth!

Thankyou, thankyou. I spent half of yesterday afternoon googling - I was sure it was possible but kept coming up with odd, expensive US solutions.

Perhaps I should learn to ask the question properly!
