My OH went away on a course last week, and she asked me to look out for a parcel to be delivered. So far so good.
A parcel duly turned up the day after she had gone and lo and behold a Panasonic breadmaker. We had been talking about getting one of these for a while and I had even asked about them in one of these pages somewhere.
So thinking I'd get it out of the box, get used to it and then when she was due home, tonight, make a big wonderfully fresh loaf for her.
Well, to put it mildly she turned up, asked what the %$*@ I was doing with the breadmaker and had a right go. Turned out she had bought it as a wedding present for someone, not a word to me about it. Now I feel like s*$t
Apart from a lot of verbal and bad feeling for the first time this year she has gone to her own house saying how much I've upset her.
Was I wrong to use the bloody thing?
