    13. The Male is expected to mind read at all times.

Thank you all for all your messages and support over the past few days. Its' all sorted out now, she had a s*%t time away and then on the way back she heard that a childhood friend had died in hospital.

She said sorry, it was just too much to take in all at once, and its only a bl*&$y breadmaker and we've spent the last couple of days making up. Shes' taking me to York tomorrow for a cruise down the river and lunch and dinner. Bet it rains, lol.

We've now agreed to talk before exploding, and if any parcels are to be delivered to my place then she tells me. For the first time ever she actually made breakfast this morning. Making up is such fun but I could do with a rest

Glad to hear it; it was either that or we'd have to start looking under the patio for you.

Enjoy the cruise; I'm at Padley Gorge in North Derbyshire with the photo club tomorrow; picnic, walking, photos; excellent. Hoping for a dry day myself.

Phew, I'm relieved you've been able to work through it together, and you've reached some important decisions - especially, that you need to communicate better with each other. It's a valuable lesson to learn.

I hope that she doesn't read this forum, personally I'd be very upset if somebody aired me and OH's disagreements on a public forum. I know people are only asking for advice (and I'll probably get kicked, as usual, for saying it) but it is something worth bearing in mind.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

                        Hi

No, not if you had been previously talking about them. You would naturally think it has for the family. You thought you would check it out and surpise her with bread when she returneed, how lovely. How far away is/was the wedding to purchase a new one, that may cause a bit of a problem.

Glad you got all sorted but in terms of the breadmaker why all this talk of getting a new one? You only used it a couple of times. I'd clean it up and box it up. If its obviously used just slip in a note to say you tried it out by accident. Who's going to care and its quite a funny story after all. Save you £100 when you need it most.
