We're on month 21 of the great self-build project, and last night (about 8pm) I was getting a bit lonely working in the attic on my own (filling and sanding architrave and skirting), so I put the Sugababes in my CD player, cranked up the volume and had a bloomin' good boogie and sing-along. I felt so much better!! Full of energy, I got loads done, and could have carried on for a couple more hours at least!! I should market it as some kind of self-builders therapy session - I could make a fortune

I agree with the music bit - but there's really no need for me to dance. Even Bean laughs.A simple dude trying to grow veg. http://haywayne.blogspot.com/

Good to hear that the house is nearly finished. I am sure your enthusiasm helps gets the jobs done but music really helps to. Something more serene for the fine paint jobs though!BumbleB

I like a bit of Sam Cooke when I'm up at the lottie, and I always have to sing along to 'Everybody likes to Cha Cha Cha', its so upbeat!
And BumbleB, yes it was hot up there, especially with me leaping around, but I had a fan on, so it was okay (and we're going to pay someone to do the glossing, coz I'm officially rubbish at it!).

I blame Janis for my currently rather messy house!...she's done a walk about & without her I just can't quite get into it!
I prefer quiet at the lottie though...each to their own,but I love being able to hear the birds etc.(plus I can never quite angle my tranny radio quite right to get a good reception!)the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.
