Yes, because it is cleaning the muck out of the fabric of the house!
You probably need to have a 'wet' vacuum cleaner following close behind the steam cleaner to grab the filth out of the air before it lands somewhere else.

My home sounds lovely doesn't it? - brown steam It was that horrible but it's not now, just the last remnant. Anyway my neighbour is getting a dog and we can borrow him when he's wet and smelly, as Alison's smelly hound is not for hire
