    You're not alone, Lozza.

I got my 1/2 lottie in Sept as well. I've got some garlic, broad beans, strawberries and raspberries planted down there now, but can't wait until seed sowing can start

Just the same Lozza, but I will have to wait at least three months yet! What are you planning to sow next week?

Quality advice Nog, its so easy to be lured in by the weather and then have our good work dashed by cold and storms.

I think everybody is dying to get started but, unless you're very sure of what you are doing and have some specialist equipment (lights and heaters) don't do it. Winter is still to come and your losses would be too great. Be patient and wait until February. You can start then if you just can't wait any longer.

If you just can't control yourself (and I get like that) try a few seeds experimentally on the windowsill. It will give you something to look after.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Yep Aliace is right it is not just Heaters but you need Light and the right colour of light to fool the plants. You cant use normal Tungsten bulbs cos the light is too yellow.

Plants need Light Heat water and mars bars.......well they don't tend to eat the Mars bars so I have to help them
