How Many People Drive To The Lottie?

Me as its over a mile, it would take me half an hour to walk and it isnt on a bus route. i dont take much with me but when harvesting I wouldnt be able to carry it home.

I don't have a lottie yet but suspect if we do get one on the site we have requested, that it would be a combo of walk/cycle/drive depending on weather, what needs carrying etc.

I walk there 99% of the time, the only time the car goes is if I have big or very heavy stuff to pick up or drop off. Usually walk the dog first, then to lottie in a big circuit round the village, gets me awake and ready to do something

'fraid i do.....its probably walkable, but then i'd be shattered by the time i got there!. then theres the problem of no loos onsite, and to get the most out of my visit i stay til i'm about to burst, so then need to get home rather quickly!!.

I'm afraid we have to, it's about 3 miles away, not on a bus route and we have to attend to the chickens before work so there simply wouldn't be time without the car (unless I left home at 3am every morning) and because I'm wary of leaving anything of value there all our tools live in the boot. This is fine when our normal car is on the road, but last week when it needed attention and we were stuck with the Micra it was a bit of a pain...ever tried keeping a long-handled hoe and rake in a Micra?

I am literally 3 minutes walk from my lottie, but I always have stuff to take there or to bring back. Also I don't want to risk the local Mini Mafia seeing that I go there which they are more likely to do if I go by foot.

Mine is four minutes walk away, and I don't have a car since my VW Polo (ancient) died. Heavy stuff is a problem, but I manage with a trolley on wheels from Wyevale.

my lottie is almost 4 miles away, so when it's mine* I do drive - I'm not up for an eight mile hike on top of lottying, plus carrying all the bits and pieces required to get down and dirty.

*mine is currently out on loan to a pal

Mine is about 7 mile away so I occasionally walk or get on my bike but the majority of the time I use the car..............sadly!

mine's a 5 mile round trip, so I take my bike. I take 2 bags of compost to the lotty, and bring 2 bags of produce home again.

I stop off at local shops on the way (free parking) and I take a country-road route home, with dragonflies and butterflies, birds and squirls accompanying me (I'm not really in the country at all: there is just one old lane/road left that's undeveloped and not surrounded by Legoland housing estates, so I take that when I can, and pray it will never be built on)

I walk when I'm only going up to have a look around and/or maybe picking fruit for brekkie. But most of the time I drive, as by the time I've done some weeding/watering/pottering I'm dead on my feet, so I find I'm not able to walk home as well.

I have a 20 mile round trip to my lottie so pushing all my tools in a wheelbarrow is out of the question

I always drive. It would take me at least 1/2 an hour (probably more like 45 minutes) to walk if I was on my own, never mind with 2 children under the age of 4. I don't have a shed either so I have to take everything with me every time I go, which as I've only just taken it over means a spade and fork at the very least, sometimes a lot more. It's just not practical to walk at the moment.
